A message to other women as a survivor of domestic violence

I hope my message as a survivor of domestic violence will help someone out there suffering in silence and not knowing what to do, make a decision that is right for her and her children. Hello, Dear, Urmila,

Welcome back! How are you doing, dear? What an inspiring video. Thanks for sharing. It's great to know the background on why your campaign is called "break the silence," too.

Dearest Jill,
I am doing well sister and trying to have a normal life even though the pandemic has affected my work significantly as you know both my menstrual health projects and journalism are field based. I am remaining positive and trying to work around on what can be done given the situation. Hope you are doing well.
Much love,

Dearest Manasa,
Thank you so much for the understanding and empathy. What a woman fears the most in the ordeal is judgement and isolation. I hope women and children understand there is a beautiful life possible even after the violence.
Much love,
Urmila Chanam

Dearest sister Beth,
I wish someone had told me these words, I would have saved eight years of my life but still I am happy I came out of that nightmare. World Pulse has been part of my healing journey.
Much love and hugs,
Urmila Chanam

Urmila, dear Sister,
What a great treat to sit back and take in your powerful message. You have accomplished so much, and so many women and girls have shed shame and begun believing in their strength and worth when they have had the chance to hear what you have to say. How sad and shameful that the women Magistrates held such prejudices. You inspire me continually.
