A project on mensural hygiene.

Hello,

In the rural parts of my country talking about menstruation is still considered a taboo. Hence, me and my team have come up with a campaign to help eliminate this societal taboo. The campaign is named NIRBHAYA ( Fearless ) which provides education to the young girls on measural hygiene, sex education, good touch, bad touch, proper disposal of pad with the assistance of a gynecologist. We are also planning to provide them pads for 3 months and also help them make disposable pads.

Please open the link and view the project and help us help more than 300 girls in Sindhuli, Nepal.

Hi Ushnata,
Welcome to World Pulse. It is a pity that menstration is still a taboo in many parts of the world. Thank for reaching out to these communities and helping the girls. You are restoring their self esteem and confidence. Looking forward to listening to more of your stories.
Stay blessed

Thank You Anita! Actually my country follows a very negative custom named "Chaupadi" where women in mensuration days have to live in cow shed away from their home alone as they are considered impure and that leads to rape and dying because of snake bite or lack of oxygen. Please do share it with your friends and on social media sites any help is appreciated as we have very less time to collect fund and put the help in action.
