Feminist Foreign Policy - A viable solution for a feminist society

Vaishnavi Pallapothu
Posted January 3, 2019 from India

When she’s not binge watching tv shows, making glorious puns, enjoying great company at quirky cafes or adding things to her shopping cart, Vaishnavi Pallapothu is studying international relations and trying to keep up with international and national politics. A passionate reader, writer, intersectional feminist and foodie, Vaishnavi’s ultimate goal in life is to travel as much and as far as possible. She loves learning new languages and about cultures from around the world. At the REF, Vaishnavi has written several articles and interviewed trailblazing women for the Feminifesto podcast. In the future, she would like to work as a translator/interpreter and diplomat.

Hi Vaishnavi,
Thank you so much for sharing this video and your thoughts with us!
I agree with you - feminism IS very inclusive, and it is unfortunate that many people hold negative stereotypes and perceptions of this word and movement.
I appreciate your thoughts on feminist foreign policy, and would love to learn more about your work in India! I hope you will share more with us here.
Warmly,
Hannah

The world needs young people like you Vaishnavi who believes in feminism. Yes, feminism is an inclusive ideology that embraces everyone and is not meant to overpower anyone. As feminists, we espouse gender equality. So keep spreading the word Vaishnavi.
Huggs from your feminist auntie Paulina :-)
