I convert, draw, make books and music on my computer keys. I am free!

My friend Ayala and my books

My story mixes with the story of other women. I have always worked with social projects and I was curious, even though I had little time, an omitted husband with a familiar family response that I managed to continue my life and progress. Curiosity kept me alive, with it I learned to use, to seek knowledge and to follow. Learn to write, learn to write projects, make it easy to open jobs for other people in the favela. Three children only amplify my desire to believe and get here. Producing at 62 years. Making books, music, illustrations, encouraging women nearby or wishing to change, get to know, learn reasons to create and feel their own destiny.

Thank you for sharing

Hello, sister Valeria,

You are an inspiration! You are growing gracefully and creatively. Thank you for sharing this with us. I shall not fear growing old because you model how we can continue learning and living even in our 60s and beyond!

Happy Women’s Month!

Thank you may sister.
Yes, it is never too late to live. The talents I have today had before, in my youth. I also had a job, needed to study, three children and a mother to support. A very sad relationship with my husband. He had no dedication to the family, had several relationships for the wedding and was unable to see the product he felt with such rejection, but he followed my life. There was no time for suffering I was too busy surviving and infrastructure for mine.
Honey, when I released myself from this sex relationship everything changed until my health, I always had to have surgeries to remove tumors from my body. I stoned my feelings. But poetry, music, especially the music I listened to in my spare time, that I had two great Brazilian artists, a singer Gal Costa and singer and composer Milton Nascimento, were homeopathic doses of hopes that kept my emotion. They were more present in my home and in my life than the husband I lived with for 25 years. Well, time doesn't come back and I need to learn to walk alone. What kept me on the emotional side was an art. A poetry that produces, a song that sings, like illustrations that it does and what it exercises, today at 62, created, my hand at 86 years close to me and well, I have time to compose, write and produce books, mine and the others. And I can be here with you. Age will never be a burden when you have autonomy. It is always time to create, always time to love, always time to live.

Thank you my sister. Yes, dear. It brings us closer together, teaches and allows us to strengthen other women. We need to be more careful and know how to use technology to enhance our voice, use and use resources necessary for our security. Together we are stronger.
