Back in time. Commitment to life.

Did I already tell you that in 2016 I physically found dear Jensine Larsen, Tiffany C Purn, Martha Llano in Brazil, Costa do Sauipe on the 13th AWID?  If so, I did not tell everything and if not, try to hear the sound of my lyrics.

 This event embraced 2000 women from 140 countries, there I discovered that my posture of a lifetime was that of a feminist woman.  I found myself a reporter.

 I didn't just go to listen, or speak, I went to work.

 I produced 3 articles with women of different nationalities, speaking in Spanish, satisfactorily understanding what they said to me.

 One from Mexico Graciela Perez, Tereza Lopes from Honduras and Mirna from Nicaragua.

 I also interviewed three Brazilians, Rosangela Costa Araújo from Bahia, Yasmim Tainá from Rio de Janeiro and Lucineide Varejão from São Paulo.

 Dear World Pulse sisters, during this time, from September 2016 to March 2020 I looked for a way to translate these audios.

 At the time, my cell phone did not have video resources because it had audios and not videos.  I took a tape recorder to the AWID International Forum and it was with him that I was able to record a little of what a lot of these spectacular women do that World Pulse gave me the opportunity to meet.  Women of the world.

 After these long 3 years and six months, I got one of my nominees for our Network, Adriana Kaíros, who knows Spanish, the translation of the first interview that is Graciela Perez' interview and like that day, at the restaurant, for breakfast  , I remembered each gesture and the tears that we cried, hand in hand.

 I will post these articles, knowing that they have already changed the direction of their stories, the world changes in a second let alone in almost 4 years but.  Out of respect for them, and my desire to share the stories and commitment to them, I will post as we translate.

Já contei pra vocês que em 2016 encontrei fisicamente as queridas Jensine Larsen, Tiffany C Purn, Martha Llano  no Brasil, Costa do Sauipe no 13º AWID? Se sim,  não contei tudo e se não, tentem ouvir o som das minhas letras.   

Este evento abraçou 2000 mulheres de 140 países, lá descobri que a minha postura de toda uma vida era de uma mulher feminista.  Me descobri repórter. 

Não fui apenas para ouvir, ou falar, fui trabalhar. 

Produzi 3 matérias com mulheres de nacionalidades diferentes da minha, falando em espanhol, entendendo satisfatoriamente o que me diziam.

Queridas irmãs do World Pulse, durante este tempo,  de setembro de 2016 a março de 2020 procurei uma forma de traduzir estes áudios.  

Na época o meu celular não tinha recursos de vídeos por isto ter áudios e não vídeos.  Levei pro Fórum Internacional AWID um gravador e foi com ele que pude registrar um pouco do muito que fazem estas espetaculares mulheres que o World Pulse me deu a oportunidade de conhecer. Mulheres do mundo.

Depois destes longos 3 anos e seis meses,  consegui com uma das minhas indicadas a nossa  Rede, a Adriana Kaíros, que sabe espanhol,  a tradução da primeira entrevista que é a da Graciela Perez e como naquele dia,  no restaurante, no café da manhã, relembrei de cada gesto e das lágrimas que choramos, juntas,  de mãos dadas. 

Vou postar estas matérias, sabendo que as mesmas já mudaram o rumo de suas histórias, o mundo muda num segundo quanto mais em quase 4 anos mas.  Por respeito a elas, e ao meu desejo de compartilhar as historias e compromisso com as mesmas,  postarei na medida que formos traduzindo.

Gratidão ao World Pulse pela oportunidade que me foi presenteada em setembro de 2016, ali floreci para entender que não há barreiras capazes de parar o desejo de ouvir o outro, se juntar ao outro, e contar suas histórias e que não somos ninguém sozinhos, precisamos cada vez mais deixar registro das nossas ações.
