From a Pandemic I created hope

I'm Valéria Barbosa poet, singer, songwriter, illustrator, creator and manager of Soiree at Slum. I come to present my illustrations to the world. They were elevated on the computer, using the Paint program. I do fabric research to create clothes and movements, cut out, lap, sometimes I use Power Point art to give some style. In this presentation in addition to my illustrations I bring a Composition: Sound of Afrocanto, I sing a composition of my own.

On 4/4/2020 I decided to create a Sarau in the Favela and bring people together. Today Sarau has 309 artists, each day more arrive, it is already in 13 Brazilian states and 3 participations from other countries. It is worth mentioning that the artists are loyal, that is, they have already sent more than one video to the Sarau and participate in the Facebook page and group. I am a poet, composer, singer and I like to draw, I hardly show my art because I think I need to manage. I only enter the scene at the Sarau in the Favela as an artist when it is necessary to speak about Rights using any of the artistic languages that I have. I will try to make the artists that are at the Sarau present their works here. To start I will send a video with my art.
