Presentation of Veronique Bulaya on World Pulse to the rural women and girls of Mwenga east of the Democratic Republic of Congo

Véronique BULAYA
Posted November 11, 2019 from Democratic Republic of the Congo

A brief briefing on my day of November 11, 2019:

While working in Mwenga territory, as World Pulse Ambassador, I spent my day today at the presentation of World Pulse to the women of a virtually isolated village called "Kwangambwa" in the territory of Mwenga in the province of South Kivu in the east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. I took the opportunity to organize a local digital empowerment training for women and girls in this village and help them know that this is their secure online space to tell their stories, connect to a global community and create the change they hope to see in their communities. Everything went well to the satisfaction of the women and girls beneficiaries.

Hi Vero,
Congrats on your amazing activity on introducing world pulse to your community members.
I feel you already haha. Keep the spirit of the ambassadorship up. Did you got a lot to join world pulse after your orientation?

I love your opening image! Very busy at work ha! Thanks for sharing and you do have a good day.

Hi Véronique,

How are you doing? Thanks for sharing your inspiring photos and update. These poor women look sad. I can only imagine how hard their lives must be. I'm glad you are empowering them as well as spreading the word about World Pulse. How many of them have access to computers, dear?

Have you filled out the World Pulse Impact Survey, dear? It would be great if you haven't, and also you may want to include this story, or a different one under the "our impact" story heading so others can read your impact: https://www.worldpulse.com/raise-your-voice/our-impact
