Tell Governor Cuomo to protect kids in the budget
In just one week, Governor Cuomo will release his 2016-2017 annual budget. Last year, he included a Child Safe Products Act to protect kids from toxic chemicals in his 2015 Opportunity Agenda.This year, 65 organizations have asked him to increase his commitment to children's environmental health and include the policy - and resources needed for implementation - into the 2016-17 Budget. As the finishing touches are being put on the Governor's budget and accompanying proposals, we want to be sure critical protection for our children's health is front and center. Time after time, all across New York, we have found toxic chemicals in children's products, including in toy cars, jewelry, dolls, clothing and more.
