I am glad to be a part of this wonderful community

Hello dear sisters, here is my first story. I am very glad to become a part of this wonderful community. I strongly believe that even the smallest actions can change the world and make it at least a little better place.

I am a Ukrainian who now lives in Poland.

I have a complicated background with a dysfunctional family but I am so happy I was able to overgrow my trauma. It's not so easy and it's an everyday battle to learn how to set boundaries, love yourself, sometimes say no, etc. But it gives me a big advantage - knowing how painful life might be I can easily feel other people's pain, I know how to listen, support, and inspire others.

My home country is a wonderful place with very kind, warm, and open-hearted people. But we have two huge obstacles which prevent us from normal life. It's a very high level of corruption on all stages and our northern neighbor invaded a part of my country in 2014. As a result, we have a very weak poor economy, it's impossible to earn proper money and have a normal life. But Ukrainians are very hardworking, very creative, and energetic people. So we are spreading everywhere it's possible :) A few million of our folks work now in Europe so do I. We have a Ukrainian proverb ''our blossoming is everywhere around the world'' :)

I am a linguist with four active languages - Russian, Ukrainian, English, and Polish. I worked as a tutor, teacher, editor, journalist, translator, PR manager, social projects coordinator, etc. So you can consider me if you need my help with some projects, workshops, creating some campaigns, online courses.

I wanted to ask you maybe you can help me with some information. I am struggling to find it myself. I have a dream - I want to take a serious professional creative writing course. I would like to use it for two reasons:

1. Improve and enhanced my ability to create texts which will reach people's hearts and might be helpful in some charity projects.

2. I dream to write a poetry book.

Unfortunately, as a Gastarbeiter, I am balancing on the edge of poverty and can't pay for this course. I tried to look for some scholarships but can't find academic online educational options for 45 years old woman. I will be very grateful if you share with me some useful information.

I send my love and virtual hugs to each of you, dear sisters
