Girls and women usually shut down on themselves after experiencing any form of violence. Stigma and discrimination do not allow them live their normal life and speak out after any form of violence. Cultural and societal norms also hinder the accessibility of Sexual and Reproductive Health information and services especially when it is needed as a result of cases like rape.
I still have a loud voice to address my audience, demand for RSH information and services. I can do more and achieve more because of the numerous capacity building trainings I have received.
With our Girls Leadership and Mentoring Programme (G-LAMP) I empower girls with useful skills and Blogging to speak out on GBV within their communities and harmful cultural norms that has been a barrier to their future.
