EACH ONE TEACH FIVE

I did not intentionally stay away on world pulse, i have been down in health but now fit and back to work.

I conducted my each one teach five training on the 4th of June, 2011 in my office conference room with six participants - 4 young women between the age of 25-30 and 2 female youths between 15- 24. My objective was for us to form a group on world pulse and embark on 'SPEAK OUT PROJECT ON SEXUAL VIOLENCE IN NIGERIA' by writing stories of sexual violence.

The initial intention was to send out letter of invitation to secondary schools so that it will be an official program for the girls to write story of sexual violence in their school but the students were writing exams as at then. Among those trained at two of my colleagues and their friends.

It was a practical training with the internet, my computer and a projector. I gave a presentation on world pulse and introduction to web 2.0. We practiced using world pulse and its features online.

We started the training with a pre-test from world pulse and at the end of the training, we had a post test to evaluate the success of the training.

I assisted one of the young girls to sign up a gmail account since she did not have and email account and she was also willing to have one.
