Introducing myself and my journal: Hello WORLD PULSE!



About Me: I was born in 1952 in the USA. I have traveled and lived in Europe (The Netherlands for 7 years) and I am currently single and have two grown children. I am a survivor of both sexual assault and domestic violence and have worked specifically in the field of advocating for the rights of people with disabilities, women and specifically members of the Deaf community since 1977. I have been astatewide coordinator of victims services for the Deaf in Wisconsin (USA), director of training & customer service manager, support group facilitatorand I continue to be passionately committed to supporting the rights of women, empowering women to develop healthy boundaries and discover and utilize the power of choice! I'm so very pleased to meet you all, and look forward to being a part of this global community! My Passions: Passion! Writing, Art, music, dance, self-exploration, personal growth, sharing/communicating, peace, community voices!! My Challenges: I have yet to find the platform that supports and allows me to be all that I can be in bringing about positive change on a wider, broader scale… World Pulse offers this connection for me!!!My Vision for the Future: The "voice" of women in the forefront affecting the state of the planet. My Areas of Expertise: Advocate, counselor, networking, empowering women, working with people who are Deaf and/or have other disabilities, coordinator, facilitator, speaker, and culturally and linguistically sensitive to diverse cultures.
