Happy women day

First Thank you very much for accepting me to be a member in this nice world group. My story today : Being an educated woman in society like Yemen is very hard because you have to fight in every step of progress of your life to achieve your goals due to the strict custom and tradition. Actually, I have been fighting to finish my study till my graduation from University . It is clear that living in tough community is very difficult because simply females are treated badly than males.They are hitted,and foreced in marriage from very young age. Here females are not allowed to finish thier Universiry study or choose thier future husband.To be honest,I have encountered both.I beg my father to complete my study ;while ,I exposed to hitting from all three of my brothers .I also remembered I used to hear fighting between father and mother because father wanted me to stop.I prayed everyday to the God to continue my journey till death. Additionally, when I choose my future husband,my mother does not accept it and all my family and my own sisters makes fun of me simply because the man is from another culture.I know it is my right to choose my spouse.Therefore ,by reaching now 38 years old I have decieded that living here in Yemen will make my life more awful.I wish I could move to another country culture and country where it is safe for women to live and work.However, my family still prevent me from traveling . So,please if u have any other suggestions ,share me even by private message. Generally speaking,cruel soceity like Yemeni culture is a huge challenge for ambitious and educated women to live and commuicate.
