empowering young women via the web

About Me:
I am a Ugandan by nationality and a Munyankole, one of the tribes in southwestern Uganda. It makes me proud to be a Ugandan, but its so unfortunate that we are born in a community where things fall apart most especially for the vulnerable children and women.I am a founder of WAS, a christian, relief, development and advocacy, community based organization, not for profit, women, disabled, child, youth and HIV/Aids organization based in Mbarara and operating in south western Uganda. As a contribution to the women weave the web, the web can lead to an offline transformation. With a mere click one can easily find out a funding source for women empowerment projects. At Was the internet has done alot to us. we have managed to network to individuals who are now supporting our children and the girls are the majority. We there fore looking forward to having such people.
