One of the significant changes within the digital revolution is a person’s ability to communicate with other people. In the 19th century, forms of communication were limited. In the 21st century, communication options have exploded to offer a wide variety of choices.
In 2009 , Rim Siam Found the Hot Mommas Project while Googling the George Washington University for her son.
The Hot Mommas Project ( HMP ), is an award-winning women’s leadership program housed at the George Washington University School Of Business . It's the world’s largest women’s case study digital library.
Rim submitted her success story\" Teaching women carpentry skills using computerised Machines\" and became the first woman from Arab Countries who not only shared her story with the Hot Mommas Project, but became the 2009 winner of the Middle East Award.

For the past few years, Rim has served as Regional Country Manager for the Hot Mommas Project. In that time, It came to her attention that most of Female-run enterprises in the Middle East were lacking basic digital literacy skills, which meant that they will not be able to compete in the Global market and to serve as a mentors. She strongly believed that Closing the gaps in digital literacy and techpreneurship for Middle Eastern women, and others who are not fully participating in the Internet, will require more to be done. So,she has formed the Middle East delegation in order to engage women around the world in helping to build Cultural, Entrepreneurial and Commercial bridges.She taught women from the Middle East how to come online and share their stories in a structured, teachable format (a case study) and serve as examples of leadership both personally and professionally, and this was extremely important not just in the Middle East, but for women globally because doing so – research shows – increases the confidence and career success of women and girls.
Rim played an important role in spreading the Hot Mommas Project in the Middle East and today it became the DIGITAL DEMOCRACY PROJECT around the world.

Rim believes that Digital literacy, online entrepreneurship, and a focus on building opportunities and equity through technology, are the keys to success in the 21st Century .
