Welisane Foundation Celebrates the International Day of the Girl Child

We commemorated this day by supplying 1500 Welicious Reusable Sanitary Pads, 250 kits for the Ex Sakerettes Yaounde Project, One Sister: One Kit!
With the ongoing crisis in Cameroon, many girls are faced with the challenge of affording their basic needs, sanitary pads being one of these needs
These pads will go a long way to enhance good menstrual hygiene management.

In Oyem Gabon we sensitized students on the importance of Menstrual Hygiene...
Menstrual hygiene education is essential for empowering girls so they can reach their full potential – for themselves, their families, communities and countries. 

And in Buea we partnered with SheSkill'd for a capacity building workshop for girls in secondary school.
