What's in Your Purse?
A Guide for Women's Wellness

Hello Ladies, My name is Wendye Savage. I am an author, poet, mental health advocate and women's empowerment leader. I have been delivered from a history of mental, emotional and sexual abuse, Major Depression and low self-esteem. . As women, we are the foundation that society sets on. As help-meets, mothers and other various roles, a lot is required of us. How do we successfully fulfill our roles in society, when we are sometimes broken inside or so busy taking care of the needs of others that we put ourselves last?  I have learned that self-care is a priority. I've learned that you can't pour from an empty cup. In my book, entitled, " What's in Your Purse?"  I lead my readers to the journey within by sharing my story and healing from some pretty dark places.  My book is birthed out of my own pain and dysfunction and the desire to help others who may be struggling with challenges I have overcome. It is my belief that when you empower a woman, you empower the world around her. Sometimes in order to go forward, we must go backward. Many of us have built lives on top of low self-esteem and old wounds and must heal from what's been said or done to us. I ask the question, what's in your purse? It's the title of my book, available on www.amazon.com

Hello, dear Wendye,

Welcome back to World Pulse! Congratulations on publishing a book! Wow! I can truly relate with your story since I have had bouts of recurrent depression due to past traumatic experiences.

I’ll see what I can do to purchase your book, dear sister, because I cannot purchase via Amazon for now.

I’ll keep this in mind, though.
Thank you for sharing!
