THE POWER OF A VAGINA
Perhaps when every female is aware of the power of her vagina, she would be aware of her innate power and may be she would be confident in her capabilities and strength. Photo Credit: Kotex

Web MD 215 defines the vagina as an elastic muscular canal with a soft flexible lining that provides lubrication and sensation. I define it as the pleasurable hole between a female's legs. This small piece of creation in spite of its size has big roles which includes but not limited to- receiving the penis during sexual intercourse, a channel for menstrual flow and passage for the birth of a baby.

This petite gap is capable of tearing down and rebuilding kingdom, it can bring about peace and can bring about war ? as well as a tool for economic and political  power.Yet if this same organ is not taken care of, it can cause a range of health and psycho social problems.  Crimes such as rape and other Gender Based Violence have been linked to the vagina.

Perhaps  when every female  is aware of the power of her vagina, she would be aware of her innate power and may be she would be confident in her capabilities and strength.

Hi Oluwatoyin,

Oh my gosh... you made me laugh, dear...."a pleasurable hole between a female's legs:-)" I quite agree with you, however, that if only all females realized the power of their vagina. We'll get there.... Thanks for sharing your post. Hope you're having a great day!

Hello, Oluwatoyin,

How powerful we are! Interesting because a friend who is passionate about learning about tribal culture in the Philippines found out that there was a tribe here that designate their women at the forefront during war. These women warriors would bravely stand and wait for their enemies, then when their perpetrators are near, the will lift their tribal cloth to show their vaginas. When their enemies see this, they would retreat. The explanation was because the men would remember their women ( grandmothers, mothers, wives, daughters). So these women warriors were esteemed in their tribe.

Thanks for sharing!

Wow! Really? I am so fascinated by this history and what a brilliant way to cause retreat and surrender in war.

Thank you, Karen for sharing this. So, powerful.

You’re welcome!

Oluwatoyin,

I enjoyed reading this and it must have taken you some thought and retrospection to come up with this. I say kudos for sharing.

I wish we can all look more into the power that our body parts - especially sex and sense organs - have to influence our own lives and that of others.

Like you described the vagina as the channel through which the pens goes through, the child come from and exit of blood during menstruation, I can say that these 3 instances are very crucial times in the life of a woman (well, and man to an extent).

Each of these instances, has everything to do with some kind of pain or pleasure (emotions), changes (biological), needs (sometimes financial or psychology), contributes to the economy, can affect education, can lead into new possibilities and so on.

Again, thank you for sharing this. I see far more depth in this post, than you have written. I guess, there will be a part 2?
