Short talk on Economology
Regenerative. Respectful. Compassionate. Indigenaity. Consequential. Nested. Whole. Integral. Communal. Solving. For all our relations. Life-affirming. Bravehearted. Right-sized. Localized. Elemental. Repurposeful. Collaborative. Connected. Contributing.
We are more than our not caring.
We are more than our not caring. (1/10)

Short Talk on Economology

We belong to each other. In an economy nested in a thriving ecology, we do. Regeneration is one thing we can do. Action inspires action. From her Alaskan bedroom window, she watch Grewingk Glacier recede 98 feet per year. In the Great March for Climate Action, she walked across the country from La to DC. Paul Revering the bell to alarm, “The climate is crashing. The tipped point is here.” They hosted community climate conversations in schools, churches, towns, and cities. She heard farmers report on weather,  teachers-kids’ angst, ministers - Earthcare, mayors - air quality. Protesting rubber-stamping fracking at FERC’s DC headquarters, homeland security arrested her. Hurt people hurt people.

KOHTR’ELNEYH means remembering forward in Tanana. From 2050 looking back, they supplied sufficient electricity to power the world 40 times over. They eat greens instead of groans. Alaska has 34,000 miles of shore. They harnessed the tides, turning them on climate. Humans united.

In Paris at COP21, 196 countries agreed to work together for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. They were overjoyed. On November 13, 2015, terrorists bombed The Bataclan where Eagles of Death Metal were playing. 130 people died. 16 days later in Paris’ historic Courthouse, Paris’ Mayor Ann Hidalgo hosted a Local Leaders Global Summit for 750. She was in the room when 250 Chinese mayors reported on their 5-year climate action plans well underway. France’s biggest trial started this week for the 1,800 plaintiffs & 20 surviving gunmen in the building nested in that same Courthouse. She made up economology, an economy within a balanced ecology. Despair, meet courage. Despair, meet courage.

Kat, I have never heard the term Economology. Your activist work is very important and almost every week we see evidence of that

There is a good reason why you had never heard of Economology before. I made the word up. We needed it. Another word we need is "women receiving." What might that sound like? Thanks for reading.
