Climate, college girls, and collaboration

Not all Superheros are guys.
Go girls standing for a survivable climate future! Shero on!

Passing laws, protesting fracking, delivering compelling talks to student clubs and legislators, Climate Reality Leaders 21 college students I mentored with former Vice President Al Gore, impact their survivable future daily. They are learning all they can about their changing world as they prepare to enter the work world after studying at USC, UCLA, UC Riverside, UCSD.

There are currently 20,000 Climate Reality Leaders around the world. All parts of the world are Xperiencing various impacts from climate breakdown now. Flooding, wildfires, drought, glaciers receding, and dozens of other effects of carbonizing of our atmosphere.

These students inspire me more than I have taught them about possible solutions. I commit to guiding as many students about our crashing climate as deeply and broadly as my breaths will take me. #IStandWithher "We need everyone everywhere doing everything as quickly as possible." - me at COP21 where the Paris Accord was signed by all nations in the world. The United States is the only country in the world to notify the UN that it intends to withdraw.

If interested, you can join in the effort to address this Xistential threat to shemanity here.

“The reality we now face implores us to act.” - AL GORE, Founder & Chairman, The Climate Reality Project

Thank you!

Climate Reality will host 2-3 trainings this year. I'll post to WORLD PULSE so more from here may become more deeply informed. Breakdowns are here. Now for us to collaborate to design our personal and neighborly breakthroughs. You can continue to track what is happening and participate potentially here: https://www.climaterealityproject.org/joinreality?promo_name=Join%20Real...

Hi Jess!

It is for all of us now to awaken our neighborhoods to prepare for a survivable future by living radically different each day. I commend to you DRAWDOWN. https://www.drawdown.org/solutions Especially the section on women and girls, which when taken together are the #1 Solution to climate emergency.

There is no curve of Earth escaping the consequences of our still rising carbonizing of our atmosphere. COP25 in Madrid must make progress . While the US is spending big on the consequences of inaction, may the rest of the world awaken. Led by women and girls informed about the cost to our communities, may our Sheroes showup. As Rumi wrote, "Now is where love breathes." Most current Climate Global Scorecard:

Thanks, Z!

It is for us feminine types to birth a new life-affirming Earth dwelling. The quickening is upon us. From the depths of our inner waters, we sequester new life in our wombs. We can remember a time when caring for all our relations honored the gifts each gave to the other to survive and thrive. I just watched Frozen 2 with my grandson last night. The shero saves her world and nature by re-membering waters. Might we look at the structural failures of our current harvesting the "resources" of nature? I've invented a word: economology, an economy respecting a balanced ecology. How might we remember each species has a purpose on the planet during the 6th Mass Extinction?

I love the Earth caring Her Deepness, Dr. Sylvia Earle, does. She celebrates her hometown Hope Spot! https://us2.campaign-archive.com/?u=8f84af70fe8d270b9dc5461a2&id=bd9121f...

Thank you for your replay and your explanation about how it’s urgent to take actions toward the nature’s call,
to reconsider our destructive acts and take some serious mesures to fight against nature pollution and other climate change issues.
I agree also that Frozen 2 has a strong message to pass which is about feminine engagement in solving environment problems.
Also, a lot of women take actions in diffrent level in leading campaigns calling the stakeholders, NGO’s...to say STOP!
Let’s protect earth’s womb !

Hello Kat!
Thanks for being there for our climate. All of us have to worry about our changing climate and make our contibution in our own small way. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, Ekitah, starting at home and figuring out our own best solutions by being the change is most inspiring to those who do not believe that their contribution individually matters. When taken together, if each of Earth's humans made a small daily change in behavior and attitude, we'd have a multiplier effect of 7.75 billion.
