LGBTQ+ Oppression in Kentucky

My life as a member of the LGTBQ+ community has been rough. I can't even go into my own school without being called slurs or made of fun for my undercut. And ever since i have started going to this high school the oppression for gay history is so unreal its disgusting, even in english class talking about Greek gods and how they weren't allowed to be in gay relationships when they actually were But knowing my state if you even say a word about gays or bisexuals or anything pride related you would get detention. We're not even allowed to have Pride Month or Pride Parades But were allowed to have all kinds of rebels and racist running around with their rebel flags but as soon as someone pulls out a pride flag OMG its the end of the world. i'm so sorry for ranting like this but i believe this is a serious problem.
