My Assets Map

In listing my assets I believe I would start from my formal education/training. I have a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and a Master's degree in Managerial Psychology. My finishing school training is also quite an asset to me as it as imbued me with a number of soft skills which include problem solving, time management, social etiquette, to list a few. Other skills I possess include oral and written communication skills, proficiency in use of MS Word and PowerPoint packages, researching, presentation skills and other ICT trouble shooting skills. I also possess my own laptop and a modem with which I'm able to surf the internet. All of these skills I believe will come in handy in my bid to address the challenges facing my community especially as regards getting information, garnering support, interacting with my target audience and preparing materials as may be needed.

My community while not urban provides me with a place of worship from where I am able to draw strength both from the Message preached and from fellow brethren. Electricity supply while not abundant is relatively available.

I do not have a large network of friends but I have one wherein I can always get the support I need most of the time. My sister who also couples as my best friend is ever there to provide advice and other support as may be needed.

I hope for an improvement in the lives of people in my community, especially as regards provision of basic amenities such as schools, hospitals, and water. Also a better socio-economic status is one I long for and a reduction in juvenile delinquency and fulfilment of purpose for the youths.
