If we overlook the today's scenario inspite the fact of being in a well established nation and area, still people shy and feel embarrassed of being pregnant and showing themselves in public. Whereas, the government has made it compulsory to give sex education in the high schools. The teachers feel hesitated to teach them in a better way and the worse part behind it is they lack in giving them full information and their curiosity get into a wrong step which results in before time pregnancy. Nor do parents take the initiative to provide their offspring with the correct information.

When a pregnant lady moves out of their place the people around stares at her as if something new is happening. This has been going since long and a lady should be proud of it. (obviously, you also came this way).
Child marriage is another cause of deaths at maternity stage. The girls getting married at tender age and given a responsibility to withstand a offspring in her undeveloped womb. She has already lost her own childhood.
The maternity health clinic are not well maintained, the behavior of the officials is so depressing.
If I tell you the incidents by the ladies who are about to deliver the babies in India.

\"A lady crying with Labor pains and the nurse : I slap those ladies hard who cry like Mads with pain. \"

\"Lady feeling shy on maternity bed, nurse :\" weren't you shy when you opened your legs infront of your husband. \"

The emergency health vans arriving late and the lady delivering the baby in the parks and roads.
A lady, who was unable to pay for the hospital was made to deliver the baby on floor.

I think such health centers and hospitals should be closed which constitute of such staff. Qualifications is not enough if they have no idea or basic manners how to deal with patients.

Poverty has resulted in poor maternity health and has increased pregnancy deaths. Because these family can't afford healthy food for their pregnant wives and vaccination from the maternity health care.

Health centers are no more a helping hand or a social server, now it is a \"Health Business\" .
Money first and service later.
