Towards The colorful Sunset

Every one can't miss the day we get older in our life time someday. The vital question is that how to walk on through this path. The people should prepare not only for achieving success in young life but for getting the beautiful sunset as well. Our elderly shelter, Aung Myit Tar(Aung Metta), is supporting like those the old grandparents to turn the cloudy sunset to the orange one.
This shelter was born according to the Buddhist monk, Sayadaw U Pyin Nyar Wun Tha, by imitating his mother who usually shares to the poor grandmothers with her snacks when they came and visited to her with hunger. So he decided to set up the shelter to take care and comfort the elders. As a monk ,it's difficult to set up an organization but he tried a lot .
The first grandmother,Daw Aye, is an insane because of her horrible life time. She is from Pyay which is far from Yangon .She came to Yangon to make money as a maid .Unluckily, she got married with the man whom was her host. One day she came back to her native town but she forgot everything about her life and the people from her township put her in the train and sent her back to Yangon again. She solved her hungry time by begging to the people. One day she laid down on the ground because of lacking of nutrient and one boy , the volunteer of Burma Red Cross, sent her to the Yangon hospital and then she arrived to Aung Myit Tar elderly shelter.Sayadaw let her see the doctor and she took medicine to cure her disease. Now she became normal again and her life is peaceful.
Twenty five grandparents are in comfortable life in our shelter now. The monks go around accepting offerings by the people and they solve the problems of grandparents' breakfast, lunch and dinner. The grandmother house is 20 feet square rounded. Eighteen grandmothers are living in the small shelter uncomfortably. For grandfathers' shelter is building a new now. Before they had to live a temporary shelter and it was destroyed by the strong wind in the rainy season.Whatever it is we are enjoyable to help them. When they meet the visitors they have many stories to speak out loud and very happy because they want our loving kindness . Our shelter is not only just for Buddhism religion but for other religions too .
Our vision for this elderly shelter is that
To create a colorful perfect sunset when the elders are not able to do anything.
