My Miracle

Miracles are not those huge things that happen to the great and the famous. It’s an everyday concept. Looking deeper in - a breath, a smile or our existence in itself is a proof of a miracle – a living miracle.

‘Good things do come around in some form or the other’ – just be good from the heart and be genuine – she said.

I had a friend who had supported me in the most difficult of all times; the miracles in my life are a tribute to her. She had always taught me, no matter what the situation ; face it with a smile and take nothing to heart. “Life is in shades of grey, understand that black and white do exist but don’t get too disheartened with the dark of black or excited with the light of white. Please yourself with the grey you are presented with.”

This advice stayed imprinted in my heart. I still can clearly remember the pitch of her voice and the tone in which she would advice me . I see a miracle everyday in this advice. I may not have a great story , but I live a miracle. Every day begins in being genuine, being myself and being happy. It’s easy to forgive but the black in my life doesn’t allow me to forget so easily; which I guess I should be allowed for all the efforts put in to be happy.

So forgive if you wish; and if u have a bigger heart then forget too.

But firstly forgive yourself.

Love freely, a smile won’t harm a stranger in need of it (not every stranger though, life is grey remember? it might be taken as a casual pass)

Don’t lie – at least not to yourself. Accepting and loving yourself the way you are, is your miracle

Feel hurt, but don’t be disheartened, give everyone another chance. That chance might be someone else’s miracle.

Miracles are not something that the Gods do , for them it’s a norm. Miracles exist every day in us humans – defeated, exhausted, misplaced and yet we continue to live. Living is a norm, living happily is a miracle.

An advice from a friend turned out to be my miracle. Maybe , I am still shadowed by a few habits of the past. But I am happy , and she gave me the sight to see the miracle and I hope you can see yours too. Its nothing big or great ; but it’s a small achievable everyday dream. Its life changing.Go for it ! Its in your hands
