The African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) is a non-profit organisation with a membership of women leaders from all walks of life across the African continent.
AWLO envisions a continent in which women take their rightful place as home and nation builders with equal opportunities and equal access in all areas of existence, the organisation works with African nations and Global partners.

The AWLO‘s flagship programme is the annual African Women in Leadership Conference (AWLC). The AWLC aims to harness and enhance the leadership potential of women in leadership positions in Africa as a whole and channel them towards the unity and development of the region.
The annual conference provides a platform for women from all walks of life within the African continent to come together to further advance the status of women. We strive to develop and nurture a network of socially conscious women leaders that will bring positive transformation to Africa and the rest of the world.
MISSION: The mission of the AWLO is to bring together female executives, professionals and leaders to further advance the leadership status of women in the continent and fulfill the objectives of the organisation.

Members of AWLO work together to advance the status of women in Africa. AWLO exists on an international level and at chapter levels in the various countries. Membership is at the International level with automatic membership of AWLO chapters in countries of residence. AWLO chapters participate in programmes and services that affect the development and equality for women in their communities and the region and in support of the objectives of AWLO at international level. Inductions are held in November, each year.
