He wants to see development in his community and he is willing to work with me to train women in engaging in agricultural activities so that they have a sustainable income We have a newly elected Woman Councilor at the sub county level and we are so excited because she will effectively represent the issues of women at the sub county. She was the vice chairperson at the Local Council Level. She has pledged her support as well.

4. Navigational Assets

My parents have a played a big role in my life. They believed in educating all their children so that we could have a good future. My father always told us to read hard so that we could make a change in the world. And he always encouraged us to help those who are disadvantaged in society I have had amazing friends throughout school who helped me build my character as well as self-confidence. Even those who tried to pull me down contributed to my determination in life. So I now know how to deal with different catergories of people My relatives have been there for me and have been very supportive My colleagues helped me understand the work environment as well as work ethics and it is something I will forever be grateful for My friends who are mothers and wives as well have showed me the true meaning of friendships and how to deal with challenges in life

5. Safety and Security Assets

Being at home with my family is a place I love to be and I feel very safe because I know God is protecting us I love being at the farm because it is at the water, righty by the lake and the water as a calmness it creates within me. I am able to meditate on life. I love seeing the progress of the crops that I plant. I love being with my girlfriends just chilling, it gives me a sense of comfort that I have people around me who understand what I go through every day and are able to comfort and console me when times are very rough

6. Resistance Assets

Being a lawyer, I have been in practice for over 10years so every legal challenge I had I had to go through courts of law However along the way I was encouraged to use mediation and arbitration and this changed my life forever. I realized that if you encourage people to sit down and talk you are able to understand the different sides of the conflict and come to a common conclusion. This taught me how to deal with conflicts.

7. Innate Assets

I have patience and the ability to use the internet together with various social media tools. I beleive everyone has a story to tell and all our stories are very different and we can learn from our different experiences in life.

8. Material Assets

At the moment I do not have funds to run my project I have a home at the farm where I can work from I have a computer and internet modem so I am able to work at ease both from home and in the community I have access to my husband’s office in town, I have a desk were I can work from if I am in town

9. Communication Skills

11. Educational Assets

I hold a Law degree as well as a diploma in Legal Practice and I have an online course on Minority Rights as well as lobbying and advocacy

12. Professional or Community assets

I have worked with communities from 2009 and I loved working wit people so this experience is one of my greatest resources I started farming with my husband in 2013 and along the way we have made mistakes and we have learnt a lot about different crops and best farming practices. This is another great resource that I have

13. Personal Wisdom

I have wisdom, having lost my dad at a very tender age I learnt a lot on my own about life. As a first born I had to grow up and help my mother so I learnt a lot about life through school and work and through people I interacted with along the way

Wow!... You have done what I am still struggling with although I am finding it fun and eye opening.

Weldone!.. It doesn't matter whether of not you have funds to run your project. With this course, you will gain the clarity and visibility that is needed to push your project to the next level.
