Team ETA at Ignition Venture Studio April 6 - May 15 2018

Ignition Venture Studio is a nation-building enterprise which aims to empower the entrepreneur. They provide business support services that allow individuals to focus on executing their innovative ideas without the backend hassles of running an enterprise. They bridge virtual capital with disruptive innovators and foster an accessible community that yields opportunities, nurtures trailblazing ideas and encourages knowledge sharing for growth.

Since last month, exactly one year before I started Empowerment Through Art, ETA became a group of artists who believes in the power of ART. People who are passionate, people who believes and supports women's and children's rights, people who believes that humanity always prevail. These people joined together to show women in varying mood, expressions and reflections. One desire bonded them, to be an artist for one’s mother, sister, wife, friend, classmate, neighbor, office mate and leader; that it take so much effort to be noticed by society.

Women shout for equal roles and opportunities and until now we are still in need to raise awareness about how women are treated in workplace, at home, in school, in corporate world, in health and social services and in the political arena.

These artists are unique because they have other professional engagements and interests. Some are in health-related courses, development work, writing, research and accounting. These artists pursued painting and doing artworks in oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media. What started as a hobby became another source of happiness. They reached the consensus, to define and show women empowerment in their paintings and art works.

They are aspiring artists truly motivated and involved in the society where women can be agents of change.

There is no other way but to seethe love and passion of these artists engaging, dynamic and empowering.

Sharing the poem that I read in the opening exhibit event last April 6, 2018
