One's walk on this Earth is for but a short time. Why not become devoted to having only a wonderful experience. Why not dedicate yourself to leaving a powerful legacy to the world?Choosing to be a part of building and not destroying the world, this is my daily personal mission and I am looking for individuals to join me.
I remember my elementary teacher teaching us a song: ‘If you can’t be an orange be a lemon, if you can’t be the sun be a star- it is not by the size or whether you win of fail, but by being the best of whatever you are’. It’s just recently when I have realized that, what he was telling us is what I have lived and become.
All my life I have been a very curious person, always wanting to know the logic behind whatever I see or hear, and the ‘why’ question has forever been a big part of my conversation. I grew up adoring cartoons like ‘power puff girls’ and ‘pink and the brain’ because they had one thing in common; wanting to change the world, and boy! Was I desperate to join them!
I grew up not understanding why would someone bully, hate, insult, ignore, despise, rape, still, kill, destroy or deprive another’s right? For me the world was one big and peaceful garden and everyone was a beautiful flower of its kind contributing in bringing amazing color and refreshing smell that would brighten my garden.
And so when I saw children in fear, mothers in anguish, and fathers in tears because of what has been done to them I got so sad and thought it was my duty to save them, take them away from their anguish and tears and hide them into my beautiful garden. I was greatly disturbed and felt useless because I knew I was meant to do something and help to stop their pain but wasn’t sure exactly how to begin.
I remember my admiration grew from my favorite cartoon characters to people like Julius K. Nyerere (the founding father of my Nation-Tanzania), Nelson Mandela, Mother Theresa, Martin Luther King, Mahtima Ghandi and people alike. After my thorough search I realized these people shared one thing in common, they knew who they were, what they carried within them and what they wanted to accomplish in life, come what may! Out of such inspiration and my faith in God is where my vision was birthed.
I have Vision to assist in bringing out the best in people around me. I believe once one knows the very reason for their existence, they will focus more on building their sense of purpose. My vision is to make the world a better place by focusing on the ‘power of one’, I believe once individuals realizes how powerful and vital their contribution are, they will focus more on creating rather than destroying.
My vision is to empower individuals to be of bold and confident nature, either surrounded by people or even when they are all alone, in the audience of one, their value to never depreciate because these individuals believe in their destiny; ‘Mind Empowerment’. I want to help individuals be the best of whatever they can be and assist in creating an assurance that ‘it is not what people call you, but it is what you answer to’ that makes a difference and one will only know what to answer to once they know who they are.
