Introducing myself and my journal: A little voice

About Me:
I was born in India, lived in England, graduated from Australia, now working in Dubai. After a 4-year working spell in film production, advertising, and public relations, I quit my job to live in Spain, learn Spanish and write. After almost 3 years in Spain (Valencia/Madrid), I'm back in Dubai.

Understanding different cultures and traveling is my adrenaline. I have learned to dance Son in Cuba, braided my hair in Jamaica, lived in a tribal village in Thailand, and driven across Portugal.

I used to be a professional blogger at Gadling, Vagablogging, PlanetEye, Gridskipper, and Globorati. I graduated in marketing and management from University of Wollongong in Australia, have a diploma in news writing and journalism from the London School of Journalism, and a certification in Spanish as a second language.

My latest obsession is new media and how it’s manifesting through the core of society and business. Which is why I quit my Vermuth drinking life in Madrid and moved back to Dubai to work as a Social Media Consultant.

My Passions:
Travel, salsa, reading, Spanish language

My Challenges:
Lack of knowledge

My Vision for the Future:
To play a role in making a difference

My Areas of Expertise:
Language: English, Spanish, Hindi; social media
