An Opportunity to transform a life through Education and Mentorship this 2013.

Here are 6 Girls looking for Mentors from anywhere across the globe this 2013. Already 54 out of 60 Girls have got Mentors from Australia, Europe and The United States. School started today, all these girls need to report to school so soon, latest by March 03.
Most of these girls have never been to any big city in this country Uganda, they really go back with reformed minds each holiday. The opportunity given to them is forever life changing. After all I am a life that was changed because of education. I suffered so much yesterday to attain an education and make my dream come true. After being educated and having a good job, I try to make the world a better place for others, today.

Awino Elizabeth
I am 16 years old. I have 9 siblings; most of them have got married, and married because there is no money for higher education. I am in the level where I can also be forced to get married because there is no money. I would like to become a lawyer in future. Please help me fulfill my dream.

Akoth Yakoba
I am 14 years old. My father died of HIV. My mother divorced and left us with our grandmother who takes care of us. My grandmother is 72 years old. She cannot afford educating me and my 4 siblings. Please support me so that I can be able to support the rest. I would like to become a doctor.

Nyamwenge Joyce
I am 16 years old. Both my parents are HIV positive. I have 5 siblings and we are very poor. My family cannot educate me any further. Being the first born, they want me to get married. I do not want to get married, I want to study. I would like to become a lawyer so that I defend those who are mistreated, especially the girls and women.

Nyadoi Lillian
I am 18 years old. My parents cut firewood and give to the school that I go to, it works as my school fees. There are no longer more trees to cut; we do not have much land to grow crops for sale. If you support me, I will work very hard for a better future. I admire doctors; I would like to become one so that I can treat the sick.

Akello Harriet
I am 16 years old. My mother died when I was still young. I have live with my father and grandmother. My father fries soybeans and sells in the markets; he gets very little money from it for both feeding us and education. Please support my education so that I can uplift my family and community. I would like to become a doctor.

Adikini Susan
I am 16 years old. Both of my parents died when I was so young. I live with my grandmother who is 68 years old. Her husband left her for another wife so she struggles and we struggle together with her to earn a living. We normaly dig people's gardens to raise any funds. My precious education has come to a stand still because we can not raise enough money anymore. Please help and educate me so that I can become a Nurse.

I also believe there is nothing more important and must-be basic in the life of an African girl than EDUCATION. Here in the grassroots, it is a luxury, especially for the girls. Give them the opportunity if you can.
