Stigma to a Separated mother

Believing and hoping that a door that closes a new one will be open.A wellknown catholic institution have the access, knowledge and authorized to channel the job openings for the company and agency to the social action center where I worked before.Organize group of women whom I organized were the one who spread the information of the job opening to their constituents and the one intereste to apply usually have letter of referral from our center.Aware and optimistic and inspired of that I apply because a lot of opening was posted in the bulletin board of the said catholic institution. The staff know me and I also follow the standard procedure in applying for the position I desired.I passed the written examination and during the interview by a "Nun/Sister"I open-up my real self and status. She said there's an opening in the city after a certain time so I was told to wait for that.I did what she told me but it seems i waited for nothing.I prepare a letter to the highiest authority of the catholic hierarchy and send it to his palace personally and after a week I received a reply from Him and advice me to return to the institution with his letter. I showed the letter to the staff assigned in the portery of the convent and she got the letter. The same nun/sister accomodate me and as we have our conversation she directly told me that she's so sorry that eventhough I am qualified for the position they cannot hire me because I might become the topic of all the staff which is a very shallow reason. Imagine,an apostle of Christ,my co-woman,discreminate me, she at once assume of what might happen?I forgot and wasn't able to get back the letter from the staff because as if I like to cry and leave the premises at once. After that event I wrote a new letter, relay my feedback and send it again to the holy palace but I don't receive any reply from him.
