Sana Afouaiz, “YouthVoice” Founder, created this initiative after her intensive 3 years work in advocating and lobbying for youth and women issues, her striving goal to empower young people drove her to travel to more than 20 countries where she spoke and promoted for youth voices in high-level discussion meetings and events.
She was nominated as one of the ten top most active youth to work on Global Accountability and Governance as Task Team Member for Restless Development Organization (UK) , working on the field of Governance and Accountability by empowering the youth , women and children civic engagement. In 2014, she was nominated the Expert of Political Affairs of Young Professional United Nations.
Sana is the Head of International Partnership and International relations for “ADYFE”, hunger to make a change in her continent Africa; she works on African development by promoting the economic integration of African youth in Diaspora.
Sana is human rights activist and women advocate; she has focused on global women issues during the time that she has been a Journalist and Vocal Contributor for the “World Pulse” and as Futurist Thinker for “Foresight For Development”. Sana has researched the situation of women and girls in different countries, has produced articles and held campaigns highlighting the difficulties faced by young women such as violence, reproductive health issues and forced marriages.
Sana was speaker in many international discussions voicing the voices of women and youth in different countries including: Turkey, Egypt, Sri Lanka, Tunisia, Indonesia, Spain, Belgium, Austria, France, India, among other countries.
Her initiative “Youth Voice”; is dedicated to voice the voices of young generation hunger for change. Today many young people have important things to say but no one is listening.
