A GIRL'S BODY

IS

IMPORTANT,

PRIVATE,

PERSONAL,

COMPLICATED,

BEAUTIFUL, and

HERS AND HERS ALONE!

ISN'T

A TRIFLE,

A JOKE,

A PLAYTHING,

AN OBJECT,

A VESSEL,

OR A RAG DOLL!

(This is a completely personal take by Allie Shep)

I think that if I titled an article "A Girl's Body" anywhere other than Word Pulse, it would be seized on by our enemies as titillating, and by us as disgusting.

But our bodies are neither titillating nor disgusting - they are a work of art and science born of WOMAN, which do an amazing variety of things - and, in most cases, KEEP doing those things longer than any MANmade machine.

And, from birth, a girl's body must be her own. For the first few years she needs help - but that help should only come from female relatives and childminders. And she should be immediately encouraged to celebrate that body - it is a gift that will go on giving for most of her life.

NOT FOR HER the primitive aspects of the male body -

- which was God's (or nature's) first attempt - he (it) scored highly for function and strength, but not for MANY other things!

But his second attempt ironed out some deficiencies - for one thing, it was able to hide urinating and reproductive organs from view - but it established two problems.

One, the result of the capability to create life, together with a more refined, organised brain: that made us more loving, more helpful, more forgiving, and so liable to be taken advantage of.

Two, our bodies are necessarily less physically strong (because of the many additional things we are able to do with them), which means that lesser beings might take advantage of those too.

However, a more advanced, cerebrally stronger being WOULDN'T take advantage, because it would realise that female bodies are honed for so many things and that we should be praised and supported for everything.

IF ONLY!
