I was deeply heartened yesterday to find that Hillary Clinton (at her senate hearing to be confirmed as Secretary of State) mentioned the importance of investing in international women's development.

Her heartfelt comments indicate that the incoming administration will implement a new foreign policy in which women's voices are valued, considered and supported.

Very Exciting! Read key quotes- click here.

Hello sister Alyson, Thank you for sharing your voice. I have admired your strength of fighting for women globally. I hope this has stuck in your heart and you are progressing well. I have realized you have taken quite a while without sharing your voice. I just want to let you know that I am one of those who are searching for people with valuable voices in silence. I encourage you to keep sharing your voice dear. It is only the voice that can change our world, yours could save many who are perishing today. Hoping to hear more from you.
