Introducing myself and my journal: EMPOWERING WOMEN TOWARDS INTERDEPENDENCE

About Me:
As a veteran nurse a Sri Lakan parentage, Malaysian socialization, upbringing and education; trained as a nurse and midwife in UK, living in the Bahamas for the last 37 years;achieved further University education in Jamaica and US;currently pursuing a dissertation on WOMEN AGES 15-30 FROM IMPOVERISHED COMMUNITIES TOWARDS INTERDEPENDENCE.
I have recently returned as a health respondent to Haiti which has further driven me to passionately propelled to do the study about the empowerment of women in this world of technology and progress. As daughters, sisters mothers, aunts, wives, and colleagues and citizens we need to guide, give direction for those in need towards a life of dignity and add self worth to our gender wherever they may be from.It is our duty to the human race. Those of us who were fortunate to be exposed to education must not leave an empty dash but touch lives through enhancingand enabling mechanisms so our lives are not in vain.I am also a proponent of Eradication of Poverty... one of the Millenium Goals.
I enjoyed your penmanship and admired the passion the drives your thoughts and your articles so rich and so much substance , as we grow we must do all we can to all who need, to all the ones who can benefit.
