Conference "Making Marginalized Voices Heard in the UN Processes" 11 & 12 November 2011

The Citizens' Global Platform (www.globalplatform.fi) has a pleasure to invite you to the conference "Making Marginalized Voices Heard in the UN Processes" in Rovaniemi, Finland on the 11th and 12th November 2011. Several of the keynote speeches, presentations and workshops lead by experts revolve around the overall issue of marginalized groups and climate change and specific topics to be dealt with include, among others, role of indigenous climate observations, gender and climate change and participation of marginalized groups in climate change policy-making.

The cost for participation is 100 euro. This fee includes accommodation (one night) in a room shared with one another participant, meals and
coffee during the conference and evening programme.

In addition to the confence, a pre-confence trip to Inari, Northern Lapland, will be organized for interested conference participants 8 - 10
November. The trip costs 200 euro, which includes accommodation (three nights), travels from Rovaniemi, meals during the trip and the visits.
