I have more than thirty-years experience developing organizations, project management, training, campaigning, and representation to government. Angela’s expertise includes policy development and inter-agency work within the women’s movement and the wider NGO (voluntary) sector on Domestic and Sexual Violence.
During a decade of growing Alpha Studio, I have created an innovative business development model known as PORT: Personal and Organizational Resilience and Transformation. This addresses the well-being of people within organizations as well as development of managerial skills and accountability that recognizes the centrality of people to the change process in a changing environment.

The 1970′s shift in awareness was and is global; it functions through local community based activism that provides most of the services to provide refuge an end abuse . Women and children are supported to get housing and support and access to better legal intervention through cooperative social and political action. The movement was soon connecting women across the planet; the involvement of young women resulted in women dedicated to this form of service for a lifetime, ensuring its stability, intrinsic wisdom and continuation.

Current creative action includes the film festival scene : Gulabi Gang has won the top prize at the Norwegian Short Film Festival in Grimstad, where it was screened publicly for the very first time. Director Nishtha Jain and Gulabi Gang leader Sampat Pal were in Norway for the Premiere of Gulabi Gang, and accepted the Golden Chair award for Best Norwegian Documentary in June 2012. The jury of the film festival said:

Violence against women is violence against the entire society. When authorities are indifferent hope is placed in the hands of brave individuals, in this case; the director and her main character. Armed with words, the fearless protagonist finds herself face to face with unendurable situations in her struggle against oppression of women. Rather than witnessing the struggle from the outside, the film pulls us into the blazing conflicts and gets our hearts pumping.
