Why I joined this group

Tell the group about yourself: where are you from? What type of work do you do?
Tell the group how you arrived at the World Pulse Online Community and the group.
What about this group’s topic or region is interesting to you?
What are one or two issues you are interested in addressing?
What do you hope to gain by being a member of this group? Maybe you want to learn. Maybe you are looking for resources. Maybe you want to offer solutions to an issue.

Greetings, my name is Anoziva Marindire but my friends call me Zee. I am a Zimbabwean journalist, activist, and social entrepreneur. I run a media initiative focused on gender development in Africa, Zimbabwe I got introduced to World Pulse by a friend who came across the online community and felt it would be very beneficial if I joined the community.

I especially joined this group because I am launching a program that teaches young girls from under-served urban communities in Zimbabwe media, coding, and advocacy literacy as a way of empowering them to ignite social change and gain much-needed skills in today's workplace and I am hoping this group will help with advice and resources that can help in the successful launch. I also am looking to connect and collaborate with members who are working in tech who feel that we can use technology as an empowerment tool for girls.

I look forward to connecting and learning from you all.
