About Me: My name is Adriana Palmeira. I am from Brazil and immigrated to the United States in 1996. I work helping Portuguese-speaking communities to gain social mobility in the U.S. In 2007, I created a nonprofit organization called Brazilian Alliance, and since that we have developed programs in the areas of immigration, human rights, social welfare, domestic violence and access to health to undocumented immigrants coming from nine countries. I love what I do, and I am here to find like minded women who will inspire me to reach my innermost ability to reach out and help many more people. Thanks for reading.
