New church

I have not gone to church in a year and a half. For once, I went to church, and I wasn't bored. I was surprisingly impressed with this church. I couldn't even believe how progressive it was. It was modern, but not cheesy. People were authentically sincere. The pastor was not all about himself; in fact, he was forthright and humble.

I cried several times throughout the service because the service touched me so much. I went with my coworker and even met an old colleague of mine from one of my social work internships. It so happened to be that she is best friends with my colleague at work. I couldn't believe how ironic it was to see her and find out how much we connect with one another spiritually.

All three of us are feminists and have problems with the conventional church. I think I have found my new church.
