I am the founder and editor of Antigone Magazine, a non-partisan, semi-annual magazine about women, politics, women in politics, and politics of being a woman, based out of the University of British Columbia but with a national distribution.
I am also the Executive Director of the Antigone Foundation, an organization that we are currently launching to encourage young women aged 10-35 to get interested and involved in politics, leadership and activism on women's issues.
Finally, I am the creator of the Dreams for Women art project, an international project that encoaurages women around the world to submit postcard sized artwork where they tell what their dreams for women are. For more information and to see samples of our project's artwork check out: Women in politics, feminist causes, organizing, fundraising, changing the world. Money. Time. Resources.
My Vision for the Future
I want young women to change the world by involving themselves in political life and using their voices to speak out against things like human trafficking.
