Posted March 25, 2009 from United States

About Me: Namaste! My name is Ashira :) I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and am now living in Boulder, Colorado and am attending Naropa University and am teaching yoga. I am completely dedicated to creating a better world and serving all beings through many mediums including healing arts, yoga, ritual and service. I love working with women and children from all over the world. I have worked with Non-profit organizations in Tibet (One Heart Tibet, Tashi Gharma Orphange), India (Hands to Hearts and STOP India) and Nicaragua (AACC). I find nothing more beautiful than people connecting world wide and feeling each others love and suffering. We are all connected! I am starting my own business called Sacred Luna Waters that specifically focuses on creating health, healing and empowerment through facilitating healing work and teaching yoga. Blessings!

My Passions: traveling, serving, healing arts, yoga, children, women, dreaming the world into being, ritual, nature, dancing

My Challenges: discipline

My Vision for the Future: All beings living together in harmony and health, taking care of the earth, loving our bodies, loving each other, taking care of one another. The end of poverty and exploitation. A world where women and children are safe.

My Areas of Expertise: Yoga, Healing Arts, Love

Welcome Ashira we have similar passions. I teach to focus on the light through visualising the planet being lit up with white light and to maintain positive thoughts for what we want rather than focusing on the fear. Mass consciousness of pure intent can change the energy from one of fear to one of love.

I love connecting with people this way, the only thing is I am too far away to enjoy your classes :)

I look forward to reading more about some of your adventures Ashira.

    In love and light Jetaia

I had a friend once who always said that and it made me smile to see you starting off your post with it! I love your vision for the future!
