Introducing myself and my journal: Economic Empowerment

About Me:
I am a project officer in charge of mobilising women to join social economic activities that transform their lives in a whole district. I work in a district that is recovering from internal displacement as a result of the war in north and north eastern uganda. I have been able to mobilse 136 women groups in the dsitrict who havve contributed to the saving scheme and reduced dependence on humanitarian agencies. Women are puting household asset to their names hence having a voice in decision making at household level.

My Passions:
Improve standard of life for rural women.

My Challenges:
the cultural enshrined believes among some women that they can not change their situation.

My Vision for the Future:
A domestic Violence free community in uganda.
