Introducing myself and my journal: LEARN FROM ME



About Me:
I am Atanda Mmbumba john, a Congolese refugee living in Nyarugusu refugee camp, located at Makere zone, district of Kasulu, province of Kigoma in Western Tanzania.
My current life as refugee begun since 1996 after the beggining of the war in my Country: the Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC.
During this war and after it, I observed several cases of children, disabled people and women's rights violations that led me to create CEADEF Organization as a tool of protecting and promoting their dignity.
Since 2000 I work on this field as a volunteer to assure that these disadvantaged persons are respected and considerated as equal to their neighbors.
I would like to spend my rest of time to work for others who are neglected in a poor and traditional community in my Country and outside..



My Passions:
To create a world where all members are equal.



My Challenges:
Customs rules that considerate a woman as an item for sale



My Vision for the Future:
The building of the world by making women at the centre



My Areas of Expertise:
women's rights, poverty struggling.
