ILES MASTER CLASS, LAGOS: Training Women to be better ChangeMakers

This week has been quite rewarding and eventful for me and five other of my WorldPulse sisters from Nigeria. We are learning how to connect better digitally with our world through the ILES Mater Class (#SheWillConnect) being hosted by WorldPulse and Intel right here in Lagos!

In the last three days, we have learned a lot from the basic uses of computers, to how we can become better in our quest to impact our communities and most especially the women around us.

I am super excited at the prospect of how empowered we shall become at the end of this training, especially as it would have direct bearing on who we can reach and what we can do to promote digital connections among women within our communities and eventually across the world.

I celebrate my journey so far on WorldPulse as I gladly share with you the Invitation Flyer I successfully created on Monday using the Word Processing knowledge I have acquired during this training.

This has also afforded me the rare opportunity of meeting my WorldPulse sisters from across the country: I now know Jane Kalu Okereke, Nnena Hannah Okoh, Ketura Shammah and Funmilola Ilo, wonderful women from all over Nigeria! Aramide Oikelome is like a big sister to me and I am glad to be sharing this training with her as well, it was she who introduced me to this great community.

Thank you WorldPulse!
