Introducing myself and my journal: Mirror

About Me:
I am Aye Lae. I was born in Taunggyi, a beautiful town which it is located in southern part of Shan State, Burma. I left my beloved family and respective home village in the past four years ago due to the repression by the infamous military dictatorship. Although, I could go to school and persued higher education in Burma but I always felt empty and hopeless regarding to the lack of freedom. I love to read and write. However, I have never had a chance to express my real feeling against injustice in my society. I have had a realization that we, Burmese people can not fully experience our freedom to speak out. Now I am working as a journalist in exile (Thailand) and I can consistantly practice and experince some sort of freedom which I could not get them back home. I am a dedicated journalist and a committed young spirit that will serve, educate and entertain people in Burma for a better furthur and overall for change and development in my community and society.
