. HISTORIQUE2
Vu les violences sous toutes leur formes dont les victimes sont les femmes et les enfants, en particulier les mamans veuves et vulnerable, considérant qu’il y a lieu de réduire ces maux par des actions concrètes avec et pour les personnes vivant sous la violence ; vu la souffrance et toutes les difficultés liées aux statuts des femmes en milieux ruraux : il est installé un bureau à Bukavu dénommé : osodi ‘’ Association d’œuvre social pour le développement intégré’’.
Sous le n° d’enregistrement n°just.GS 112/S-KIVU/ 1716/2004 .

2.VISION

Prévention de la femme rurale et renforcement durable a travers le developpement intégral avec les communautés a la base.

3.MISSION
Renforcer la capacité des organisations membres
Devenir un cadre de dialogue, de concertation et d’organisation de la défenses des droits humains.
Defendre le droits des femmes autochtones dans les zones de conflits .
Coopérer avec les bailleurs des fonds pour aider les organisations qui non jamais profiter les financement en milieux rural.
Organiser la gestion des activités transversales entre les organisations membres.

• Participer à la promotion de la femme et au développement de celle-ci par son instruction et sa formation professionnelle en vue de l’aider a s’auto prendre en charge.


• Créer des activités socio-économiques-culturelles concourant à son épanouissement.


• Améliorer l’environnement matériel, social et culturel de façon à favoriser sa participation égale dans la vie communautaire pour son intégration effective dans la société.


• Encourager l’esprit de créativité d’autonomie et de participation
  volontaire et librement consentie à
  l’œuvre de son propre épanouissement


• Permettre à la femmes d’accéder aux soins de santé appropries.


• Créer un centre d’informatique et de metiers pour les femmes (alphabétisation ,coupe et couture, agriculture et élevage).


• Renforcer la synergie de femmes sur la prévention de la femmes ,enfants orphelins et personnes vulnérables, mobiliser la société sur les droits de la femmes.



• Lutter contre l’oisivetés et la délinquance juvénile de jeunes et autres vulnérables..

OSODI Activities

A. BACKGROUND:
1. Given the many forms of violence of which the victims are women and children (and, in particular, widowed and vulnerable mothers);
2. Considering that these ills should be reduced by concrete actions by and for the people living under violence;
3. Given the suffering and all of the difficulties related to the status of women in rural settings;
4. ...An office has been set up in Bukavu. It is named “OSODI,” or Social Welfare for Integrated Development.

B. VISION:
1. The protection of rural women, & sustainable reinforcement through integral development with grassroots communities.

C. MISSION:
1. Strengthen the capacity of member organizations
2. Become a framework for dialogue, consultation, and the organization of the defense of human rights
3. Defend the rights of autochthonous women in conflict zones.
4. Cooperate with donors to aide organizations which have never financed rural areas
5. Organize and manage transversal activities between member organizations

D. OBJECTIVE:
1. Participate in the advancement of women through instruction and professional training, in order to help women to be self-sufficient
2. Create socio-economo-cultural activities contribute to this development [of the advancement of women]
3. Improve the physical, social, and cultural environment in a way that favors women’s equal participation in community life for their effective integration into society
4. Encourage the creative spirit of autonomy and of voluntary and freely consented participation in the work of women’s own advancement
5. Permit women to access appropriate health care
6. Create a computer and vocational center for women (literacy, cutting and sewing, agriculture and livestock farming)
7. Strengthen women’s synergy on the protection of women, orphans, and vulnerable people
8. Mobilize society for women’s rights
9. Fight against the idleness and delinquency of youth and other vulnerable populations
