I am a 2nd level student at Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis Missouri (MO), USA and doing volunteer internship at the Institute for Peace and Justice. (Checkout www.ipj-ppj.prg) Before I came to the US I was a religious sister in the Philippines working with women and youth for 21 years. I worked in religious formation, lay leadership formation, family organizing and women/gender advocacy. I left the congregation officially in 2005 and worked for the Integrated Pastoral Development Initiative (IPDI) for four years. IPDI is a non-profit organization that worked with more than 40 local communities and church and civic organizations. May passion in life is women empowerment especially the marginalized. I love working with women and listening to women stories and discovering the presence of the sacred in them.
