Introducing myself and my journal: HR defender/Development Worker



About Me:
Born and grown childhoold in rural (hill) area-Chapakot VDC of Kaski District with basic education. For secondary educaiton i had studied in Talbarahi SS, Baidam, Pokhara. I did I.Sc. from India subsequently did B.Sc. from PN campus pokhara ( 1st batch ). I completed M.Sc from Tribhuvan Unitversity on 1994. I have tought as lecturer for some 4 years in Padma Kanya ( PK) Campus Bagbazaar, Kathmandu. Also involved research works associated with for National Labour Academy ( NLA) since 2000-2004 in the field of labour ( bondage labour, child labourers) and sustainable development related areas such as agriculture, local development, visionary planning for local bodies ( VDCs and DDCs) as envisioned by GoN's Depatment of Local Development for ILO/IPEC, WB, IDRC, ODA and RRN etc. I had great exposure and working experiences with community especially for poor and marginalised population in Mid and Farwest regions of Nepal for some 5 years in RRN as district coordinator and regional coordinator. Currently, i am managing and coordinating development activities/works and reseach works under RRN as a programme manager for overall development of communities of rural population groups where poverty, discrimination, exclusion and marginalisation are persisted rampantly.



My Passions:
Working for poor and marginalised populations of Rural Nepal, writing and learning from rural popple, reseach works and social work



My Challenges:
is to build justice for rural poor people and change the feudalistic mindset of leaders/policy makers/ people



My Vision for the Future:
Human Rights for all and a just world



My Areas of Expertise:
Rural Development-Project/Programme proposal, managing-planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of the development works



Language:
Nepali and English ( Tharu, Gurung, Tamang and Maithali to some extent)
